Today, based on the Electoral Code provisions, electoral materials are being distributed by the 90 CEAZ to 5417 Voting Centers throughout Albania.

The process of distribution of election materials has been completed by 53 Commissions of Election Administration Zones, while all other CEAZs are near the end of this process.

The exception is CEAZ no. 6, Vau i Dejes municipality, where, for  reasons which are already known, the election materials were redelivered in early hours today, which led to delays in the start of distribution process to 53 Voting Centers of this CEAZ.

Pursuant to Articles 248, 325 of the Criminal Code these actions are considered criminal offenses, abuse of duty and obstruction of electoral subjects.

 As you have seen in the CEC meetings today, the CEC, with its decision, has authorized the change some voting center locations. This change was made not because of the force majeure, as the Election Code provides, but it had to be made, in order to ensure that each voting center tomorrow would be open for Albanian voters.

All the CEAZs that administer the election process in the areas where voting centers have changed, will post the voter lists at the new locations determined by the CEC decision. Therefore, the CEC requires the understanding of the voters of these voting centers, to understand that this was  a forced action, and appeals to them to be informed and check the official website of the CEC, in order to be properly guided tomorrow, when they go to the voting centers .
