The Central Elections Commission, in its today’s meeting reviewed the following decisions:

1.        “On adoption of the long-term observers of OSCE/ODIHR, for local government elections of June 30, 2019″. The CEC decided to approve the request of OSCE/ODIHR, for accreditation of 32 long term observers, to observe the elections process for local government elections of June 30, 2019.

2.       “On adoption of the long-term observers of KRIIK Albania, for local government elections of June 30, 2019″. The CEC decided to approve the request of KRIIK Albania, for accreditation of 11 long term observers, to observe the elections process for local government elections of June 30, 2019.

3.       “On establishment of some ballot centers in private buildings, for local government elections of June 30, 2019. The CEC decided to postpone the decision.

4.       “On drawing the lot to review the election complaint no.2, filed by the electoral subject “Democratic Belief”.

After drawing the lot and reviewing the complaint, the CEC decided to sustain the request of the electoral subject “Democratic Belief”, with the object  ‘Objection to the CEAZ Decision no.46, on non-registration of the candidate for mayor of Cërrik Municipality, Mrs. Merita Xhika, for local government elections of June 30, 2019/;. The request  will be reviewed in the meeting held on May 26,2019.​
